How is Cantr different from a free tool like Equestria?
Free tools can be a great place to start, but Cantr is built specifically for the day-to-day realities of running a boarding barn.
Cantr brings your horses, clients, lessons, scheduling, records, invoicing, payments, and staff access together in one organized system. Instead of piecing things together across spreadsheets, calendars, texts, and payment tools, you have one place to run your barn.
Cantr isn't just a place to store information. It's designed to help you spend less time managing the business and more time running your barn.
What does it actually cost once Stripe fees are included?
Cantr keeps the pricing straightforward.
Starter is $29/month + 1.5% on payments processed through Cantr. Pro is $49/month + 1%. Stripe's standard payment-processing fee is separate and is charged by Stripe.
Cantr does not hide an additional transaction fee on top of the Cantr platform fee. You'll always know what you're paying to Cantr and what you're paying to Stripe.
Who built Cantr?
Cantr was created by our founder, Holly, after seeing a problem in her own barn: too much time spent juggling paperwork, spreadsheets, texts, calendars, and everything else that comes with keeping a barn running.
She wanted a simpler way to keep everything organized and in one place—so she built Cantr.
Today, Cantr is being built specifically for equestrian facilities, with one simple goal: to make running a barn more organized, more efficient, and a whole lot easier.
Can I get my data out if I leave?
Absolutely. Your barn's information is your information.
Cantr provides data export capabilities, and you can request an export by contacting us at info@cantr.us. We want you to use Cantr because it makes your barn better—not because you're worried about getting your information back.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel Cantr whenever you want—there's no long-term contract.
Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, giving you time to reactivate your account or request an export of your information.
We want Cantr to earn your business every month by making your barn easier to run.
